When the weather is warm and humid, I really don’t want to go to work.
The A/C unit does not work really well and neither does the ventilation system.
The ventilation idea is supposed to keep all of the metal particles out of the air and out of our respiratory system. Unfortunately, it really doesn’t work really well. I often wear a mask at work so I don’t have to be worried about the small particles of steel. I work in a factory that makes plastic coated and PVC coated double loop rebar ties, but double loop rebar ties are a necessary area of infrastructure. They hold the pieces of rebar together. They need to be strong but bendy. The PVC coated and plastic coated double loop rebar ties are made directly in the area where I work and they are shipped all over the country. The two of us are one of the only factories where all of the items are made in the United States. A week ago the A/C unit broke down in the shop and all of us have been laboring in conditions that are less than ideal since then, but not only is the A/C having problems, but all of us also have to worry about the ventilation system. I would think that with the covid virus still out there, that the boss of the locale would be more inclined to repair the problems with the indoor air conditions and climate control. I hope someone will notify the human resource department. You have to leave a name, so I won’t do it. The last lady to complain to HR mysteriously got laid off.
